Robert Michael Taylor (known to all as Rob or Bobby), age 34, of Plano, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Frisco, Texas.

Bobby was born on March 14, 1991, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas, to his devoted mother and father, Jesse and Cathy Taylor. As a baby, he was exceptionally sweet and rarely cried, earning him the early family nickname, "Pancake," due to his adorably large, round head. For nine years, Bobby was the cherished youngest member of the family until the birth of his brother, Jacob, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond throughout his life.

A graduate of Carrollton Christian Academy in 2009, Bobby was a talented athlete who excelled in football and soccer, proudly helping his high school soccer team win the State Championship in his senior year.

Bobby loved being outdoors. He was an Eagle Scout and loved anything that involved fishing, camping, hiking, or traveling to new and far-away places. Above all else, Bobby was known for his kind heart and extreme loyalty to his friends and family. He gave the BEST hugs, a gesture of warmth and connection that will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Cathy Taylor; his sisters, Michelle Taylor and Lacey Cleland; and his brothers, Jesse Martin Taylor IV and Jacob Taylor, sisters-in-law, Amber and Cinnamon, brother-in-law, Brandon, and uncle to Aiden, Brooklyn, Addilyn, Maverick, Austynn, and Jesse. He also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Vader and Chewy.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Robert's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6545 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas 75093.

He will be laid to rest at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
