Robert Tersteeg Obituary
Robert “Bob” Tersteeg, 96, of Pequot Lakes, passed away peacefully at Bethany Good Samaritan Home on May 8, 2024. No services are scheduled at this time.
Bob was born on October 12, 1927, to Charles and Anna (Schwiderski) in Bird Island, Minnesota. He married Elizabeth “Betty” Kangas who he married on November 29, 1968. Bob enjoyed being outside farming, gardening, picking berries, and enjoying wildlife. He spent his life fishing, hunting, and trapping as well as telling jokes, stories, and visiting with family and friends.
Bob is survived by his children, Charles Tersteeg of Pequot Lakes, Ann (Fred) Sawyer of Cape Coral, Florida, Joseph (Jill) Tersteeg of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, Susan (John) Buhlmann of Aitkin, Minnesota; grandchildren, Erik Tersteeg, Meri Tersteeg, Sam Tersteeg. Further survived by his in laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Christopher Tersteeg; and wife Elizabeth “Betty”.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel and Kline Funeral Home in Pequot Lakes.
