Robert "Bob" Testa Obituary
Robert "Bob" Testa, 84, of Uniontown, passed away at his home on July 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 7, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Cesari and Josephine (Fabrizio) Testa.
He was a 1958 graduate of North High School in Akron.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He worked for Western Electric (AT&T) as an installer and retired after 30 years of service. Following his retirement, Bob worked for Lake Local Schools as a bus driver for 10 years.
Bob took much pride in maintaining his home, yard and cars. He enjoyed his daily social gathering at McDonald's with his Hartville friends. Bob also did extensive research on his family's heritage and genealogy.
Bob's greatest achievement was the beautiful family that he created with his loving wife, Pat.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia "Pat" (Oliver) Testa; children Paul (Lana) Testa, Patty (Ted) Reymann and Brian (Denise) Testa; his sister Norma Derita; grandchildren Sarah, Luke, Angela, Kayla, Alec, Brianna, Mikayla, and Hannah; great-grandchildren Amber, Maggie and Teddy.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers Henry and Steve Testa.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1st from 5-7 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home-Hartville, 504 W Maple St, Hartville, OH 44632.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2040 Diamond St NE, Canton, OH 44721.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron where military rites will be rendered.
