Robert C. Thomas

Robert C. Thomas, age 72, of Wheeler, WI, passed away peacefully at his home on October 7, 2025, with his daughter, Melissa, by his side.
He was born on May 23, 1953, in Eau Claire, WI, to parents Carl and Fern Thomas.
Robert married his first wife, Vicki, and to this union they had one son. They later divorced. He later married his second wife, Diane, and together they had a daughter and a son before eventually divorcing.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged and carried great pride in being a U.S. Army veteran.
He loved hunting and fishing and watching the Packer games.
He is survived by his sons, Cory (Robyn) and Jeffrey, both of Eau Claire; daughter, Melissa (Kyle) of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan (Jeff) and Isabell (Melissa); brother, Richard of Colfax; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patsy.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Cory and Val Boiteau and their family. Neighbors who became family-for their kindness, meals, and help with grocery shopping.
Robert will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
