Robert Thomasson Obituary
Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on July 29, 1974 to Robert Phillips Thomasson and Ellen Louise Carter Thomasson. He married Jeanette Hope in 1994 and had two daughters, Amber Leigh Thomasson and Crystal Day Thomasson.
Robert was predeceased by his Father, Robert Thomasson, his wife Jeanette Thomasson and brother Kenneth Keen.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Louise Carter(Versa Carter), daughters Amber Leigh Thomasson and Crystal Day Thomasson, sister Sharon K. Nichols and sister in law, Jean Keen.
An excellent father while raising Amber and Crystal to the best of his ability after losing Jeanette in 1999. His love and support never went unnoticed. Robert was beloved by their step-sister Jennifer, as well.
Robert was of the Baptist faith. A hard worker having worked at NAS Jacksonville for over a decade. In his free time, he loved going to concerts with friends and family. He built many friendships through social networking and helping folks with their computer problems. Robert was smart, great at math and remembering names and dates; with great taste in music, he wasn't afraid to play it while cooking out or working on his car. He will be remembered by friends from all over the country. With a big heart, Robert touched many lives and left behind a part of him with everyone he knew. He will be truly loved and missed by all.

Even though Shane and I shared no DNA, we both shared Kenny and Sharon as siblings, and I always considered him "family".
After all, It was A LOT easier to call him COUSIN than it was explaining to people how we weren't "related".
I will miss him and will keep Ellen, Sharon, and the rest of his family in my prayers.
