Robert passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 lovingly surrounded by family.

He was born on October 12, 1926, the son of Thomas Franklin Tipton and Martha Elizabeth Purdy Tipton. Bob was in the Army for 23 years and retired, 1st Sergeant. He received many Honors, awards and recognitions. He worked at Johnson and Johnson from 1969 as a technician in the raw materials department. He was presented with the William H. Lycan Award for outstanding performance in quality assurance by Johnson and Johnson. Bob loved woodworking, and he would also spend hours shelling pecans to share with his family and friends. He was a very loving husband and father. Anyone who knew Bob knew how loving and attentive he was. He would do anything for those he loved.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nan Tipton, his daughter, Nan Morris and his 11 siblings.

He is survived by his daughters, Martha Scribner, husband Jr, Aleda Kissinger, husband Jim, Grandkids, Marc Morris and wife Heather of Choctaw, Oklahoma, JR Morris wife Jody of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Jena Harris, husband Todd of Surprise, Arizona, Joey Kissinger, wife Victoria of Houston, Texas, Brandon Lasswell, wife Tori of Quinlan, Texas and Great Grandchildren, Libby Morris, Brant Morris, Annsleigh Morris, Ace Morris and Kendal Harris and several bonus grandchildren and bonus great grandchildren.

Graveside Services for Robert Tipton, age 98, of Sherman, Texas will be held at Cedarlawn Memorial Park on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
