Robert W. "Bobby" Todd III

Robert W. "Bobby" Todd, III, 84, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born in Cannon Co., Bobby was the son of the late Robert and Delcie (Reed) Todd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Mayo) Todd and his great great grandson, Brooks Foster.

He is survived by his aunt, Linda (Kenneth) Bush of Bradyville, his sister, Vicky (Eugene) Baxter of Bradyville; his daughters, Rene (Al) Vanpliet of Water Valley, KY. And Robin (Paul) Smithson of Manchester; 5 grandchildren, Valerie (Daniel) Gardner, Caleb (Amelia) Smithson, Jacob (Megan) Smithson, Katie (Chris) Prosser, Jedidiah (Haley) Smithson. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

Bobby was a member of the Burt Baptist church. He was retired from Nissan in Smyrna and was a member of the Mt. Morrish Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed attending the MTSU girls basketball games. He loved his dog companions, Bailey and Abby and above all, he loved visiting and playing UNO with his grandkids.

His family will receive friends, Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Friday, January 16, 2025 from 12 noon until 1:00 P.M. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Thyatira cemetery with his grandson, Caleb Smithson officiating. Pallbearers include Jacob Smithson, Jedidiah Smithson, Daniel Gardner, Alex Gardner, Hunter Baxter and Caleb Prosser.
