Robert Trero Obituary

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bobby" Earl Trero, age 67, who left this world peacefully at 11:03 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Bobby spent his life close to the earth-literally and spiritually. As a dedicated tree doctor, he had a way of understanding nature that few people ever truly master. He could read the health of a tree the way others read a book, and his hands brought life, healing, and care to countless branches and roots throughout his community. His work stands as living proof of his kindness, patience, and the pride he took in nurturing the natural world.

Just as trees were part of his soul, so was music. Bobby loved musicians, melodies, and the magic that comes from a good song played at the right moment. Whether discovering new artists, sharing old favorites, or tapping along to the beat, music was a constant companion in his life. It brought him joy, comfort, and connection, and those who knew him will always remember how his face lit up when a tune moved him.

Bobby will be remembered for his warm spirit, his humor, and the quiet strength he carried into every day. His loved ones take comfort knowing he is now at peace, and that the echoes of his laughter, his stories, and his music-loving heart will remain.

May his roots remain strong in our memories, and may his song continue to play in all who loved him.

Per Bobby's last wishes, no service will be held, just one final "Bobby Trero Party", celebrating his life and his love for music, his friends and his family. Details will be announced at a later time.

I have known Bobby since I was a little girl, my dad and Bobby were close friends. I have many fond memories as a kid growing up felt like we were all family, lots of good times together. When my dad passed Bobby came to help us through our loss and offer his comfort. I will always remember his contagious smile and laugh. I know he and my dad are now singing and dancing in the golden streets of heaven together. He will be missed by many, and I send my sincere condolences and prays to the Trero family.

We are greatly saddened this morning as we read about the passing of Bobby Trero.

Jim and I have been reminiscing our days knowing the Trero family, goes back 30 plus years when we first met Maxie then his son, Bobby.
Since then, the Trero family saved and nourished many trees for us from Water Oaks, a Red Maple and a 600 year old Pin Oak according to Maxie.

And continuing on, Bobby came to rescue more trees for us when we relocated to another property.

We will miss you, Bobby Trero, your exuberance, profound knowledge of trees, earth and life. Our memories of you will be daily as we gaze upon our beautiful trees. Thank you, Bobby Trero.

Our sincere condolences are felt for the Trero family and the many friends.

Play the music loud and save and plant a tree. Let the memories play on and on.

With great resect and love,
Dianne & Jim Curry
