Robert Troyer Obituary

Robert W. Troyer, 85, of 13257 Harrison Road, Apple Creek, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Holmes County on September 24, 1940 to the late William A. and Fannie D. (Mast) Troyer, and on March 17, 1966 he married Edna J. Hershberger, and she survives.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Edna, and daughters, Erma of the home, Miriam (Atlee) Stutzman of Apple Creek, Kathy (Alfred) Stutzman of Apple Creek, Ruth Ann (David) Yoder of Wooster; son, John (Fannie) Troyer of Fredericksburg; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-granddaughter; brothers and sisters, Alex (MaryAnn Troyer) of Fredericksburg, Anna (late Mose) Miller of Fredericksburg, Clara (Dan) Weaver of Brinkhaven; brother-in-law, Joe (Erma) Miller of Apple Creek.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David (Clara) Troyer; a sister, Ella Miller; a grandson; 3 great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 9:00 am at the David Troyer residence, 13255 Harrison Road, Apple Creek, Ohio 44606, with Bishop Abe Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow in Hershberger Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 pm on Wednesday and anytime on Thursday at the David Troyer residence.
