Robert Dean Tuck

June 13, 1969 – December 14, 2025

Robert Dean Tuck, 56, of Valdosta, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Born in Valdosta to Robert Henry Tuck and Geraldine Austin Tuck, Robert was a lifelong resident who cherished his community and family.

He graduated from Lowndes County Schools in the late 1980s and pursued higher education at Valdosta State University, earning a degree in computer science. Robert’s passion for technology led him to work at the Cancer Center in Atlanta, followed by a brief tenure in Jacksonville. He eventually returned to Valdosta, where he dedicated 15 years as a computer lab analyst at ADM. Later, Robert embraced entrepreneurial spirit by starting his own home remodeling business, which he successfully operated until his passing. Beyond his professional work, Robert found joy in building computers and fixing things for family and friends.

Robert is survived by his devoted parents, Bob and Jerrie Tuck of Valdosta; a special cousin, Sheila Lowery of Lake Park; his aunts, Joyce Wooden of Elizabethtown, KY, and Eileen Miller of Port St. Lucie, FL; along with numerous cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Houston Tuck and Mabel Tuck, and Hazel Austin.

A memorial service to honor Robert’s life will be held at 4pm on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. The family will welcome friends prior to the service from 3-4pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
