Robert J. Turek Sr.

Robert J. Turek Sr., age 87 of Berwyn. U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Berlin, Germany, qualified as an expert marksman and a member of the 3rd Battle Group Chorus. Beloved husband of Linda J. Turek (nee Lesko), loving father of Robert (Elizabeth) Turek Jr., James (Tammy) Turek, Linda (Anthony) Krivak and Mary (fiancé Robert Maskal) Turek, cherished grandfather of Carolyn (Christopher) Patterson, Christine (Cameron) Guest, Robert Turek, Haley Turek, Kaitlin Krivak, Alyssa Krivak, Ellen Krivak and Sabrina Krivak, dear cousin to many. Robert was a 43-year member of IBEW Local 134, worked for 27 years as Chief Electrical Inspector for the City of Berwyn, worked 40 years for his family owned Avers Electric Company and was the maintenance engineer for 12 years at St. Mary of Celle Parish, Berwyn. Robert enjoyed motor boating, sailing, fishing, gardening, hiking, cars, reading, dancing and singing (he didn't need an occasion to break out into song). He also collected outboard motors and baseball caps.
