He was raised in Wilmington Delaware by his parents Robert and Harriett Ullrich of Wilmington Delaware. Bobby graduated from Wilmington friends School in 1966 and went to Jacksonville University in 1967. He came home for vacation and found his draft notice for Vietnam and elected to enlist in the Army. Bobby joined the Jacksonville Police Department for 5 years and then enjoyed being a route salesman for many years in Jacksonville and Delaware. Moving back to Delaware in 1988 he met his future wife in 1990. She remembers how he always talked throughout the years about retiring to St Augustine; that was his dream. His dream came true in 2011 when they moved to St Augustine. He loved spending time in the garden and watching all sports on TV. He had a "gift" in recalling statistics on any player, any sports, at any given time. He loved his family deeply and his little Westie, Roo. Bobby is survived by his wife, May Ullrich of St. Augustine, his Father, Robert Ullrich and his companion June Peterson of Hockessin, Delaware, his Uncle Carl and Rebecca Ullrich of Virginia Beach, VA, his sister Tricia Ullrich of Westgrove, PA, Gretchen Baugh, his daughter from his first marriage, son in law Brian Baugh, and his two grandsons Colby and Jacob all of Key West, FL, a special family friend, Chrissy Thomas and Cortell of Wilmington, De.
