William J. Ullrich

William J. "Bill" Ullrich, raised in Garfield, NJ, and a longtime resident of Warren Township and later Forked River, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 at the age of 86.
Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Jo-Ann Keller Ullrich of Warren and Elmwood Park; his sister Lenore Ferus of Millville, NJ; and his parents, William and Hedwig (Hattie) Ullrich of Garfield.
He is survived by his daughters Laura Ullrich (Ben Lockett) of Bellefonte, PA, and Kristen Ullrich (Protasiewicz) of Woodbury, NJ; nephews and nieces Brian Ferus (Denise) of Vineland, NJ, Beth Ferus Parsons of Millville, NJ, F. Paul Keller (Dani) of Fredericksburg, VA, and Patricia Keller of Ithaca, NY; along with several grand-nieces and nephews and a step great-grandson.
Bill graduated from Pope Pius XII High School (Passaic NJ) and Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. He built a distinguished career as a metallurgical engineer, first with Alcan and later as a founding partner of ACuPowder.
A devoted husband and father, Bill was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of the Mount in Warren. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who found joy in nature and in helping those he loved.
