Robert Vacca Obituary
Robert Greses Vacca, 84, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, with his loving son Michael by his side.
Born on July 3, 1941, to Emilio and Margarita Vacca, Robert lived a life filled with faith, family, and music-his greatest passion. A gifted musician, he served as choir musician for Holy Family Church and St. Joseph's Church and had the rare honor of performing for nine U.S. Presidents throughout his remarkable life.
Robert will be remembered for his warm heart, great humor, and the way his music could light up any room.
He is survived by his son Michael Vacca; daughters Lisa Vacca and Cynthia Vacca Willis; stepson Troy Perales and his wife Ina Perales; daughter-in-law Sharon Perales; brother David Vacca; sisters Yolanda Leal, Gloria Villarreal, and Linda Alvarez and her husband Leo; and by numerous loving nieces and nephews and 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Viola Vacca; stepson Sefferino Perales; and brothers Adolfo Vacca and Ismael Vacca.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Though Robert is no longer with us, his music, love, and faith will echo in our hearts forever.
