Robert Frank Valik

Robert Frank Valik passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on September 20, 1948 in Syracuse, New York to Frank and Darlene Valik. He was raised alongside his three sisters, Cheryl, Lynn, and Susan, and later moved with his family to Allendale, New Jersey, where he spent most of his childhood.

Mr. Valik raised his family in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and later lived in Mahwah and Guttenberg before ultimately settling in Leland, North Carolina. He was especially proud of his active-duty service in the United States Navy, including time aboard the USS Saratoga. Following his service, he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from Fairleigh Dickinson University and built a long career as a financial planner and tax accountant.

An avid reader, he was also a passionate collector of coins, stamps, and baseball cards. A true member of his generation, he had a lifelong love of music and cars, enjoying countless concerts, classic car shows, and racing events with family and friends. In later years, he most enjoyed watching New York Mets games and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his three sons, Brian (Lindsay), Kevin (Anne), and Tim (Catiana), and by his four grandchildren, Luna, Gerard, Cody, and Lachlan. He will be deeply remembered and missed by his family.
