Robert Edwin Van Cleaf, Jr. "Bob", 78 passed away on April 12, 2024, in Webster, Texas. He was born on May 18, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland to Rev. Robert Edwin Van Cleaf and Myrtle Elizabeth Mason Van Cleaf. Bob is survived by: daughters, Jeanette Yod Spencer and Mary Elizabeth Montgomery; sons, Boontom Lee "Tommy" Sigun and Harry Dykis Van Cleaf, grandchildren, Samantha Chanda Sigun, Megan Sue Sigun, Faith Rose Van Cleaf, Elizabeth Jeanette Montgomery, Maddison Grace Van Cleaf, Abigail Yod Martinez, Julia Paige Montgomery, Melissa Boon Lai Martinez, Addison Michelle Montgomery, Jane Suliem Martinez, and Sophie Michelle Griffin; great grandchildren, Payton Danielle Sigun, Jaedyn Brielle Perez, Easton Luke Sigun, and Boontom "Tommy" Scott Makin, and numerous family members and friends.
When his nation called, he answered by joining the Army. He earned a bachelor's in theology. Bob worked as Private Security for Pinkerton which then became Securitas. He had a passion for religion, family and baseball and loved to watch the news, read books, go to the library, and feed his curiosity in extraterrestrial life.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 9 am at Crowder Funeral Home of Webster, 111 E Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Texas, 77598. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in Bob's memory may do so by donating books to their local public library.
