Robert William "Fob" Vendal January 21, 1980 – November 3, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Robert "Fob" Vendal, who went home peacefully on the night of November 3rd, 2025, surrounded by love in the comfort of his own home.
Rob now rests in eternal peace with his dear mother, Cindy. He is survived by his loving father, Bill; Rachel, the mother of his two precious sons, Rashard and Rowland, his pride and joy, the lights of his life and by his wonderful siblings, Paul and Phil (Melissa). He was also a supportive uncle to many nieces and nephews and deeply cherished the bond he shared with all his cousins.
Although Rob was a native of Michigan, born in Southfield, he spent his childhood in Torrance, California, and later lived in Arlington, Texas, and St. Petersburg, Florida, before spending most of his adult life in Detroit.
Rob was a follower of Christ, a proud and caring father, and a loyal brother and friend. His warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He will forever be remembered for his incredible artistic talent, his passion for sports - especially basketball - his unbeatable skills at the domino table, where he also hosted a podcast for the domino community and his love of a good cigar.
Rob's spirit was one of laughter, creativity, and love. Though he is no longer with us in body, his heart and energy will live on in all those whose lives he touched.
