Robert Julian Vinson

Robert Julian Vinson, 59, of Homerville passed this life on Monday, January 15, 2024 after a short illness. He was born in Homerville to his mother, the late Hilda D. Vinson. Mr. Vinson lived in Homerville most of his life and worked for Design Space in Plumbing and Flooring for many years. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and Republican.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Monique Bernice LaRock Vinson of Homerville; four stepchildren, Lisa and Murray (Henry) of Richford, VT, David Stanhope, Jr. (Rebecca) of Berkshire, VT, Camellia Harrell (Terry) of Homerville, and Shirley Sylva (Robert) of Richford, VT; his twin sister Robbin Fussell (Larry Hughes) of Waycross, sister, Harriet Holmes (James) of Homerville; Aunt Bernice White (Ronsea) of Homerville; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-l aw, Joseph LaRock (Shirley) of Ft. Myers, FL, Angelina Danforth of Enosborg, VT, Donald LaRock (Laurie) of Ft. Myers, FL, Ernest LaRock (Ginny) of St. Petersburg, FL, Tamatha Manley (Michael) of Tampa, FL; and mother-in-law, Bernice Schroeder of St. Petersburg, FL; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon, January 17, 2024, at 2 pm at the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1 pm until 2 pm at the funeral home.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
