Robert Dale Vorhies

Robert Dale Vorhies, 70, passed away on June 11, 2025, at his home in Troy, MT. He was born on November 10, 1954, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Robert Wayne Vorhies and Mary Jean Yates.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from December 13, 1971, to December 12, 1977. In his earlier years Robert drove a tractor for Werner and other companies. He later became a narcotics officer and a Bail Bondsman, which he really enjoyed, in the area of Colorado Springs, CO. Robert's last years of his life were spent living in Troy, MT. He loved being a mountain man. Robert hunted and made his own leathers.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert Wayne Vorhies; Mother Mary Jean Yates; and brother Jim Vorhies. He is survived by his children Robert (Bobby) Dean Vorhies of Beaver City, NE, and Chandra Rae Vorhies Thoms of Tempe, AZ; brothers Jerry Vorhies and Dan Vorhies; sister Cathy Vorhies Montoya; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren Maysan Paige Vice and Deana Grace Vorhies.
