Robert D. Wade was born on October 18,1969, to Richard Wade and Gail Castleberry-Wade in Columbus, Ohio. Robert grew up on the South-East side and attended Columbus Public Schools graduating from Independence High School In 1988. Robert attended Central State University in Wilberforce. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1992. Shortly after obtaining his bachelor’s degree, Robert began his thirty years plus career at Huntington Bank. He started working in the mailroom making his way to become an investment banker. Robert and Tiffany Collins-Wade were married in the summer of 1995 and to this union they were blessed with Jordan Robert Wade.
Robert loved his family and friends and maintained many connections from high school and college. Among them was his best friend, Rodric Hickman. Robert would often share memories of he and Rod’s laughter and adventures while in high school and attending CSU. They were truly like brothers. Robert also loved music and “the culture” as well as jogging in Blacklick Woods Metro Park. Robert was a beloved father, son, big brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Edith (Mullins)Castleberry, John and Colleen Wade, Aunt Teresa (Castleberry)Ross, Cousin Anthony Ross, Best Friend Rodric Hickman and Godson Jarrin Hickman.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory his Son Jordan R. Wade, Father Richard Wade, Mother Gail Castleberry and loving sister Dawn Saunders as well as all his aunts, uncles, other family and countless friends and colleagues.
