Robert M. Wahl

Robert Michael Wahl, 85, of Massillon, passed away on December 17, 2023 at Brewster Parke.
He was born on February 11, 1938 to the late Otto and Hazel (McCammon) Wahl of Canton, OH.
Bob owned and operated Bob Wahl Auto Repair and Service in Venice, FL and was a member of Epiphany Cathedral Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Boston. Bob was known for his sense of humor and his kindness to his neighbors and customers. He never met a stranger. His shop was a gathering place for people to socialize and he loved Florida and the Venice Jetties. He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles, Moose Lodge and the VFW.
Robert is survived by his loving children, Jeffrey M. Wahl, Lisa M. Yeary, and Debbie S. Scheetz; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosemary Burkhart, Paul (Marie) Wahl, Elizabeth Wolford, Evelyn (Karl) Fahrni, Frederick Wahl, Raymond (Dee) Wahl, Joseph (Pat) Wahl, David Wahl, and James Wahl.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha McLaughlin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 1pm-3pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, with a memorial service to follow at 3pm in the funeral home, Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brewster Parke Activities Fund.
