Robert Walker

Robert Charles Walker entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the age of 66. He was a native of Utica MS and a resident of Gretna, LA. Robert was employed as a former welder with Avondale Shipyard. He served his country in the United States Airforce. Beloved husband of the late Ethel Walker. Loving father of Lora Walker Thomas and Robert C. Walker. Son of Pastor Robert Walker, Jr., and the late Dora Lee Walker. Stepson of Jonnie P. Walker. Grandson the late Robert and Mary D. Walker. Brother of Bruce, Michael, Torey, Dewayne, Daryl, and the late Barbara Walker, also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Elder Dewayne Walker officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: St. Joseph B.C. Cemetery-Marrero, LA.
