Robert (Bob) A. Walski, 90, passed away peacefully November 20, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family.
Beloved husband of 62 years of Barbara (nee Nejman) whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership; loving father of Brenda (Ray) Chesser, Bev (Garry) Hine and Trish Walski; proud grandpa of Josh (Stephanie) Hine and Jason (Carly) Hine; great grandpa of Chase, Carson, Barrett, and Autumn; dear brother-in-law and uncle, and friend to many.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lucille (nee Ziolkowski) and sister Eileen Walski.
He was a proud Korean War Army veteran, former Police Commissioner of Burnham, member of Woodrow Wilson Post #20, former parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle church, and retired Sears service technician of many years.
Robert loved to travel America with his wife, watch Westerns, and lose at the casinos. We will miss his happy whistling.
Service and visitation Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 10am - 2 pm at Burns Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Please omit flowers.
