Robert David Warden of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on June 16, 2013 at the Mercy Hospital having reached the age of sixty years, two months and eighteen days. He was born on March 29, 1953 in Potosi, Missouri a son to the late Robert Warden and Sara (Cain) Warden. Silver Dollar was preceded in death by a sister Betty Wilkerson and five brothers Benny Warden, Floyd Warden, Charlie Warden, Jack Warden and Ray Warden. On December 29, 2003, Silver Dollar was united in marriage to Karen Rath and they shared almost thirteen years together. Silver Dollar was a member of the Jesus is the answer ministries. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Karen Warden of Potosi; two daughters Laura Sanders and husband John of Sullivan, Bobbie Jean Drennen and husband Ricky of Hopewell; son Rob "half dollar" Warden and wife Jamie of Mineral Point; step son Paul Peyton and wife Amanda of Mineral Point; sister Janet Wright and husband Carl of Springtown; eleven grandchildren Lindsey, Josh, Audrey, Johnny, Rilee, Cole, Samantha, Justin, Jessica, Jake, Eli; one great grandchild Corbyn; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. A memorial service was conducted on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Richards officiating. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
