Robert Warengo Obituary
WEAVERVILLE – Robert “Bob” Warengo, age 82, of Weaverville passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Bob was born on August 22, 1943, in Monona County, IA and was a resident of Peoria, AZ from 1969 – 2021. He moved to Weaverville, NC in 2021. He was a carpenter with Ron Swartz Construction in Peoria, AZ and after retirement was a self-employed carpenter, enjoying cabinetry and stained glass. Bob proudly served in the United States Army. He built the home his family lived in while in Arizona. He was the son of the late Nick and Anna Keis Warengo.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Linda Kay Aust Warengo; son, Robert Lee Warengo and wife Leslie; brother, Gene Warengo; and grandchildren, Madeline Warengo, and Dalton Warengo.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery where burial will follow.
