CANDLER – Guy Wesley Hensley, age 60, of Candler passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
Guy Wesley was born on March 21, 1965, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He attended Erwin High School and worked at Champion Corporation. Guy enjoyed fishing, hunting ginseng, and riding motorcycles. He was the son of the late Guy Furman and Geneva Leona Coleman Hensley.
Surviving is his lifelong companion, Geraldine Johnson; brother, Tim Hensley and wife Sue; aunts, Doris Sanders, and Carolyn Mathis; and niece, Crystal Daves.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at West Memorial Park, 40 Roberts St., Weaverville, with Pastor Jim McDonald officiating.
