Pagenkopf Funeral HomeRobert (Bob) Edward Webb, age 79, passed away peacefully with his children by his side on March 5, 2026. Born on December 22, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, Bob was the son of the late Edward and Lucille (Carr) Webb.
Bob graduated from Bradley University in 1970 and began his career with Xerox in Peoria, Illinois. It was there that he met Marlene Delores Webb, and they were married on February 15,1969, sharing 53 years of laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to one another.
Bob spent nearly 30 years with Xerox, where he built a successful career in sales and sales management and was recognized nationally for his achievements. In 2002, Bob opened his own Xerox agency, Digital Office Solutions, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Starting with a small team, he grew the business over nearly two decades, building lasting relationships with clients, partners, and employees alike. He ultimately sold the company after 19 years and retired, enjoying time with his family and friends.
Bob made a lasting impact on everyone he met through his humor and generosity. If one word could describe him, it was generous. He gave freely of his time, his resources, and his love. He had a way of making you feel seen, no matter how brief the interaction. You left conversations with him feeling fortunate to have shared that moment. Bob cared deeply for those around him, and the world loved him back. He often told others they were “the best,” but anyone who knew him would say the same about Bob.
In his free time, Bob loved being with his children, fishing at the cabin, taking naps, playing golf, working in his yard, and chatting with the local bartender or anyone in his community.
Bob was many things to many people: a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, mentor, friend, and inspiration. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his children, Sara (Michael) Short and Andrew (Virginia) Webb; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Henry, Calvin, and Thomas; his sisters, Mary Birmingham and Denise Monell; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Webb; his parents, Edward and Lucille (Carr) Webb; and his sister, Debra Webb.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Joan of Arc Parish.
