Robert Francis Wesp

Robert Francis "Bob" Wesp, age 63, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025 after battling Leukemia.
Bob was born on April 16, 1962, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Walter and Audrey Marie Wesp. He grew up in Menomonee Falls and later helped build the family home in Colgate. From a young age, Bob's strong work ethic and love for the land were evident as he began farming alongside his uncle and grandfather.
In 1979, Bob met the love of his life, Doreen, his high school sweetheart. The two were married on October 1, 1983, and shared 42 wonderful years together filled with love, laughter, and family.
In 1986, Bob and his father Walter founded Kettle Moraine Hardwoods, turning a shared vision into a thriving family business. After Walter's passing, Bob and his brother Jim continued to grow the company side by side, building it into the respected and successful business it is today. Bob took great pride in working alongside his family, and it meant the world to him that his sons, Jim and dedicated employees will continue to carry on the Wesp family business with the same dedication and integrity that Bob lived by every day.
Outside of work, Bob loved farming, attending auctions, coin collecting, and spending time with his family. His greatest joy was being surrounded by the people he loved most.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife Doreen; children Daniel (Alissa), Sam (Audra), Susan (Casey) Haas, Michael (Emma), and Allen (Jordan); and grandchildren Michael "Dude," Danity, Wyatt, Rhea, Jackson, Brenna, Anna, Nora, Ava, Henry, Grace, Claire, Amelia, Charles, and Adaline.
He is also survived by his siblings Jim (Joanne) Wesp, Jean (Ron) Humphreys, and Mary (Peter) Rohr, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Audrey, his brother Bill, and many other loved family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) OR Versiti Blood Center.
Memorial Services for Bob will be held on Sunday November 2, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic church (215 Main St, Allenton, Wi 53002) Family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00pm until the start of service at 2:45pm. (Committal and Luncheon to follow, 4:00pm (Sacred Heart Cemetery, 5760 State Hwy 33, West Bend, Wi 53090).
