Robert K. "Dynamite" Whitehead, age 72 of Maryville passed away on October 16, 2025, at his home. He was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company for 37 years and was a Union 309 Rep. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mauda and Victor Whitehead; brothers, Vernon, Ivan, and Gene Whitehead; sisters-in-law, Judy and Elaine Whitehead.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Whitehead; brothers, Wendell (Brenda) Whitehead, David Whitehead; sister, Betty Jo and David Pesterfield; sisters-in-law, Rose Mary Whitehead, Karen Whitehead; children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special pet – Sparkle.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tater Wells and Rev. Allen Tyler officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Grandview Cemetery. www.mccammonammonsclick.com 865-982-6812
