Lamont Alvin Foster

Brother Whitner as we called him around the Foster household or Whit, was always smiling and making jokes but also showing his devotion to Sister Whitney and God. It was nothing for Brother Whitner to make his way up to my room to speak to me and make me laugh always showing up even for my wife at her mother“s funeral.
My dad, his good friend is battling with some health issues but Brother Whitner has visited him in recovery and in the nursing after care facilities, he was there when my mom and dad celebrated their anniversary helping his dear friend Alvin dance with his wife. His example and dedication to Sister Whitner is admirable.
Brother Whitner was an amazing father, husband and friend and will be missed but never forgotten.

There are no words...I smile remembering the last time I saw him and his big hug on my brief visit home. I extend my deepest condolences to the entire family! May the Comforter smother you all with His peace that surpasses all understanding. Even so Lord, Jesus...
