Robert Wilkoff Obituary
A Washington, DC native, he attended Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn, NY. He was the principal of Archaeon Architects for over 40 years, primarily designing residential structures with a special emphasis on accessible living. He was an amazing, talented and generous person who loved helping others, whether coaching soccer or putting together IKEA furniture.
His passions included photography, music and guitars, Porsches, riding with the Slow Riders motorcycle club and international travel.
Bob was predeceased by loving wife Martha Wilkoff and father Wm. L. Wilkoff. He is survived by daughters Hannah Wilkoff and Kate Wilkoff; mother Paula Wilkoff; sisters Leslie Wilkoff, Susan Wilkoff (Randall Ingate), and Laura Abed (Farough); partner Amy Ross; nieces Rachael Abednejad, Alexandra Abed (Erik Schulwolf), and Josie Ingate; nephews Spencer Lewis and Sam Lewis; grandniece Emma; his pets Ms. T "Chop" and Degie "Doof"; and numerous relatives and friends all over the globe.
A memorial celebration will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to ASPCA.
