Robert S. Wilner, 64, passed away the morning of January 27, 2026 with his wife Lisa Ann
Wilner by his side.
A beloved husband to Lisa and devoted father to Benjamin & Micaela Wilner, Robert was a
pillar of strength and support for his family.
The son of Lois and Sherman Wilner and brother to Bonnie Vincent, Robert was born on April
3, 1961 in Newark, NJ. He grew up in Livingston NJ, where he played hockey and cultivated
loving and long-lasting relationships with his family and friends. After graduating from Temple
University's Fox School of Business, he went to pursue a career in IT Security Sales. When he
retired from his career, he discovered a newfound love for teaching children. He was
absolutely wonderful with children.
He was also a loving uncle to Casey & Aaron Bonchi, and Alyssa & Jason Vincent.
He was always there to offer guidance, love, and a hearty laugh. He cherished friends and family at
gatherings, with his presence embracing everyone with warmth and joy. And let us not forget
that he was also a dedicated and dutiful dog dad to four fur babies in his lifetime.
Robert was known for his effervescence, sincerity, boisterous laugh, silly sense of humor, and
open mind and heart. He welcomed everyone and anyone with open arms. He had many
passions, including an eclectic interest in music, sports, movies, pop-culture, and history,
which he enjoyed sharing with his family and peers. He was most notably the biggest fanatic of
The Beatles and all New York City sports teams.
His memory lives on through his loving wife Lisa, and his children Benjamin and Micaela. His
memory is also survived by Bonnie & Mark Vincent, Joe & Beth Bonchi, Keith & Antionette
Bonchi, as well as his nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Thursday January 29th, 2026 at 11am,
located at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold, NJ 07728. Friends and family are
invited to attend and pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to
Deborah Heart & Lung in Browns Mills, NJ in Robert's memory.
Rest in peace Robert. Your memory lives on with us forever.
