Gerlisa Davis

Gerlisa L Brinson Davis was born December 7, 1968, at Jersey Shore Medical Center Neptune Township, to the late beloved Geraldine Thomas and Edward Jennings. She entered eternal life on January 17, 2026, at Hackensack Meridian Health in Brick Township.

Gerlisa was raised and educated in Freehold where she started her long career as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She gave many selfless years at various locations, including 13 years at FountainView Care Center, Lakewood, until leaving in 2024 due to a decline in her health. Upon leaving her job she enjoyed being a devout stay at home Grandmother to her grandchildren. Yahnier, Nyriem, Kwa'Myah, Beloved and Kwa'si. All of whom she was extremely proud of!

Gerlisa is predeceased by her Mother Geraldine Thomas and Eldest grandson Kwa'Mi Reid. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her Loving Husband of 30 years Michael A Davis, her only brother Walter Rondell Brinson, her four sisters Selister Thomas, Tara Bruce, Nikkia Fitzpatrick & Crystal Jennings. She also leaves her 5 children Jashon Brinson, Asia Calhoun, Kwajee Reid, Malaysia and Aniyah Davis. As well as several Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of Family Friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm. Interment will be private.
