Dr. Robert "Bob" Wilson, 86, of Beaumont, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He passed peacefully at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

He was born in Ravenna, Ohio on May 6, 1939, to Ruby Guest and Ward Wilson. He grew up in Pulaski, Virgina, and after high school, attended Hiram College on a basketball scholarship. He was called to service in the US Army and Army Reserves, then returned to Ohio to work with his father in law enforcement.

He earned his first Doctorate in Podiatric Surgery at Case Western Reserve, then his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Western States University in Portland, Oregon. He moved to Beaumont in 1993, opening the practice that would become Wilson Chiropractic.

Dr. Bob never met a stranger. He loved to talk to people and was truly interested in their lives. He knew a little bit about a lot of things, never failing to be able to carry on a conversation about literally anything.

He loved being a doctor. He had a genuine love for his patients, with many becoming lifelong friends. He would guide his patients through the office on his arm, his typical request for the assistants "Table for one, wine list, no smoking".

Dr. Bob has touched many lives over the course of his lifetime. He was a dedicated father and husband. He was an Eagle Scout and lifelong supporter of Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the Tolerance Masonic Lodge. He had a strong faith in God, and was a member of Victory Temple.

Dr. Bob enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with his family. He loved animals of all kinds. He never took himself too seriously. He loved jokes and loved to laugh. He was a self-identified jack-of-all-trades, an "all-around good egg".

Survivors include his wife, Dr. Jennifer Wilson; daughters, Michelle Austin of Florida, Heather Lane of Tennessee, Kelly Ward of Ohio, and Dr. Molly Wilson of San Antonio; son, Michael "Mike" Kotecki of Crossville, Tennessee; brother in law David Smith (Meghan), sister in law Amy Drury (Jon), beloved nieces and nephews, and many close friends who will miss him dearly.
