Robert Wilson Obituary
PERRYSBURG -- It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Rob (Robert) Wilson on December 19, 2025 at the age of 66.
Rob grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio where he graduated. He then joined the family car business, Dick Wilson Pontiac, Buick, GMC working alongside his father, brother and son. Rob was a strong, generous, kindhearted man who will be missed by family and many lifelong friends.
He was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on the Packers, Hoosiers and Notre Dame. He enjoyed many trips to the property in Michigan and hunting in Saskatchewan. After Rob retired he spent time baking, canning and tending to his yard and garden. Rob was family oriented marrying his high school sweetheart, Tina of 39 years. He was a proud father and grandfather. His greatest joy was being his grand babies #1 fan, who affectionately called him El Padre.
Rob is survived by his wife Tina, children Todd (Ashley) Wilson and Abbey (Chris) Bollenbacher, grandchildren Walker, Libby and Sulley, and brother Rick Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dick and Carol Wilson.
The family would like to thank the entire St. Luke's Hospital staff for the exceptional care provided during his lengthy stay in 2021 that blessed us all with another 4 years to build everlasting memories.
A celebration of life will be held on January 3, 2026 from 11 am to 3 pm at The Schaller Memorial Building, 130 West Indiana Avenue in Perrysburg, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Ducks Unlimited in his honor.
