Robert Daniel "Danny" Wilson

Robert "Danny" Daniel Wilson, 70, of Tiger, Ga., passed on Dec. 24, 2025, with his family at his side. Danny was a lifelong resident of Rabun County. He was the son of Alice Marie Watts Wilson and the late Robert Lee Wilson.
Danny worked at the Rabun County Hospital for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors. In his younger years he enjoyed Coon Hunting. He took pride in mowing grass to make sure it was beautiful as he wanted it perfect. He liked loafing with friends and family. He was always on the go he could not sit still. His faith was very important to him and shaped his life. But most of all he loved his family and spending as much time as possible with his son Daniel.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Robert Wilson, granddaughter Blakely Wilson: two sisters, Cheryl Ann Wilson and Donna Marie Wilson.
He is survived by his mother Alice Wilson: one son Daniel Wilson (Katie): a granddaughter Addyson Blake Wilson: favorite ex-wife; Cissy Henry, two sisters, Rita Dixon (Bobby), Pam Watts (Terry) and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at Beck Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service was held Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hunnicutt officiating. Burial followed in the Liberty Community Cemetery.
