Robert E. Winters

Robert E. Winters – 85, of Middleton and formerly of North Reading and Somerville, passed away at his home on Friday, December 5, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Kathryn J. (Repucci) Winters.

Born in Somerville, MA on June 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Henry E. Winters.

Bob worked as a parts coordinator for the MBTA for many years and was a member of Local 25.

Bob loved his son and belated wife more than words can describe, he loved his country and always kept a positive outlook on life, he was non judge mental and he always put other's needs before his own, especially his family and close friends.

He was the President of Pop Warner Football and was a little League Coach in North Reading and he loved Kitty's Restaurant. Bob loved traveling in New England, he loved Fox News, scratch tickets and especially his Grand Marquis.

Family members include his loving son, Robert J. Winters and his companion Nicole Calantonio; his brother Bill Elwell; his late sisters, Barbara Nash and Joan Gogos. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13 from 10:00 AM to Noon, at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Wounded Warriors, Tunnels To Towers or the Pine Street Inn.
