Robert Paul Wolf

Robert "Bob" Wolf, age 65, passed away on March 15, 2026, at his home in Crystal Lake, Illinois, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 19, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois.

Bob was a highly skilled mechanic with an exceptional ability to repair and build nearly anything. He had a strong interest in technology, including building his own gaming computers, which he greatly enjoyed doing with his son. He also loved fishing, nature, and spending time outdoors. Bob was well known for his sense of humor-especially his movie quotes, dad jokes, and puns-which brought comfort and smiles to those around him.

A devoted family man, Bob will be remembered for his strength, kindness, humor, and unwavering work ethic. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pauline Wolf and son, Brandon Robert Wolf. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy; his remaining child, Judith (Nicholas) Wolf-Dentro; two grandchildren, Donald Fischer, and Matthew Robert Wolf-Dentro; Sister, Terri Brent; mother-in-law, Judith Sebelik, who he considered his mom; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Shelby and Ginger, who provided him great comfort, especially in his final days.

In accordance with his wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
