Robert Wright Obituary

SENECA FALLS - Robert R. Wright, 90, most recently of Seneca Falls and previously of the Rochester area, passed at Geneva General Hospital, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. All services will be held privately, at the convenience of Bob's family. Donations in memory may be directed to Bridges for Brain Injury, 5760 Duke of Gloucester Way, Farmington, N.Y. 14425.

Bob was born and raised in Rochester, N.Y. He graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in Rochester and from 1957 until 1959, served his country in the US Army. He had worked for Xerox in Webster for many years and after retiring, relocated to Seneca Falls in 1996. Bob loved to play poker, was an avid bowler and golfer, and enjoyed collecting and selling baseball cards. Over the years he had acquired many baseball cards and unique sports memorabilia. As much as Bob enjoyed sports and collecting, it was his family that was the most important to him, and he cherished the time he got to spend with them.

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth 'Betty" Wright; two sons, Barry (Sara) and Wayne Wright; five grandchildren, Chelsea (Ryan) Blackford, Christian, Braydon (Katherine), Zachary, and Matthew Wright; nieces, Lynne Littlefield and Sheila Fritz; sister-in-law, Valerie Patanella. Bob was predeceased by two sisters, Andra DiRisio and Patricia Lawrence.

Bob's official obituary can be found at DoranFuneralHome.com.
