Robert B. "Boby/Rocky" Wrightington Jr.

Robert B. Wrightington, Jr., 'Bob/Rocky' 82, of Dumont, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 4, 2023. Beloved husband of Maryann (née Troiano). Devoted father of Jeffrey (Lisa Trowbridge), Cheryl Boehm (Eric), and Christopher (Debra). Cherished grandfather of Stephanie Kokot (Alex), Jessica Talmo (Mathew), Hunter, and Shane. Treasured great-grandfather of Mathew and Lucas Talmo.

Bob was born in Teaneck, NJ on August 27, 1941 to Alice (née Lynch) and Robert B. Wrightington, Sr. Bob (Rocky) was a Police Officer with the Dumont Police Department, retiring as a Sergeant in 1991. He was also a licensed electrician. He enjoyed spending time with his family whether it was down at the Jersey Shore or a backyard BBQ, Bob was always up for telling jokes and having fun. He always had a great story about the 'good old days'.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, at 4 – 8 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ. Funeral Mass Thursday, November 9th, 9:30 AM St. Mary's R.C. Church, 280 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
