Robert Young Obituary
Robert Henry Young, of Oxford, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 85. Mr. Young loved to cook, and chili was his signature meal. He was always giving, very generous, and willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Mr. Young was quick to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Young; parents, Claude and Leona Young; siblings, Mary Young, Dewey Bodie Young, Vivian Young, and James Young.
Survivors include his daughter, Venita Lucchi (Scott); sister-in-law, Jane Young; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Young will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Ingram officiating, and internment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
