Ann Belle McCullough, cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the age of 88. Ann was born on Friday, March 26, 1937, a beloved daughter to her late parents, Barry Frank Ricks and Tinnie Ruth Ricks. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry McCullough, and her daughters-in-law, Melinda Terrell, Linda Terrell, Gail Terrell. sister, Bessie Austin, and brother, Frank Ricks
Ann was a dedicated Food Service Assistant employed by the Rockdale County Board of Education. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met, whether through her work, her church, or her personal life. She was a caregiver and took care of anyone who needed help.
Ann's greatest joy was her family, and she relished in spending time with them. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her children, Tirrie Terrell, Tony and Pam Terrell, Rickey Terrell, and Horace and Marsha McCullough. and her precious grandchildren: Kevin Terrell, Todd Terrell, Rick Terrell, Ryland Terrell, Jessica Terrell, Miranda McCullough, and Marrisa McCullough. Ann's love and influence continue through her great-grandchildren: Jacob Mock, Wyatt Terrell, Hanna Terrell, and Logan Terrell; great-great-grandchildren, Alex Terrell, Anistasia Terrell, Aden Terrell. Her family extends to numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends who will all miss her dearly.
An avid collector of ceramic cats, Ann's love for animals was well-known among her family and friends. Her collection, a testament to her love for cats, brought joy to her and all who visited her home, filled with warmth and beautiful memories. She also enjoyed going to yard sales.
The family will be forever grateful for the time shared with Ann, whose life was a testament to strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. Arrangements have been entrusted to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home. Services honoring Ann's life will reflect her everlasting love and devotion to her family and faith.
Ann Belle McCullough will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. McCullough will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Road NE, in Conyers. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M.
