Robert Youngblood Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 30, 2023.
Robert passed away on Dec. 27, 2023 at his home in Cottonwood Heights. He was born in Marietta, Georgia to Dr. Robert Lee Youngblood and Anna Mariea Gay. He married Valarie Pryanovich on Nov. 11, 1978.
Robert founded and ran a number of businesses during his lifetime including a roofing company and an auto repair business. He enjoyed the freedom and control of being a business owner, but his true passion was a decade's long love of fishing and hunting, which he shared with friends and family. He owned property in remote areas of Utah that helped him maintain his connection to the backcountry of the intermountain west. When at home, he enjoyed gardening, and helped maintain a large and beautiful garden.
Robert is survived by his wife Valarie, children Lee (Kelsey), Zach and Nikki (Kaylen). Grandchildren Diesel, Mia, and Matty, his father Dr. Youngblood, siblings Susanne Burbank, Angie Haymond (Steve), Amber Anderson (Devin), Jessica Tolman (Beau), Nan Tibbitts, Josie Carroll (Kim), Tom Gay (Sarah), Jon Gay, Parker Gay (Stephanie), Nancy DeFord (John), Linda Blanton and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Parker Gay.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 4th at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 S Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106
