Robert Zepezauer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shimon Funeral Home on Jan. 15, 2026.
Robert "Bob" W. Zepezauer, age 70, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

Bob was born on April 15, 1955, to Edward and Betty (née Landis) Zepezauer.
On October 7, 1978, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Dawn Schultz, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Menomonee Falls. Together, they shared 47 wonderful years of love, partnership, and adventure.

Bob dedicated many years of hard work and loyalty to Signicast in Hartford, for over 25 years, where he worked in metal melting and proudly served as a Team Lead. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and leadership.
Outside of work, Bob cherished time spent with Dawn and their sons, especially traveling together to national parks and enjoying their shared passions for fishing and hunting.
Whether outdoors or at home, Bob valued simple moments, good company, and making lasting memories.
Bob is lovingly survived by his wife, Dawn Zepezauer; his children, Zack and MacGyver; his siblings, Margaret (Dale) Paetow, Carole (Tim) Bedore, and Ted (Agnes "Butch") Zepezauer; his siblings-in-law, Esther (Dick) Weis, Debbie (Mike) Delany, Mark (Cathy) Schultz, Julie (Jack) Coldron, and Judy (Butch) Lewis; and his best friend, Joe (Kathy) Halvorson. He is further survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Betty Zepezauer; his in-laws, Earle and Corinne Schultz, and his beloved fur babies, Raptor, Lucy, and Chloe.
A Celebration of Life for 'Bob" will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Hartford Town Hall (3360 Co Rd K, Hartford, WI 53027.) Casual dress is welcomed.
Memorial contributions can be made to Save the Redwoods, or Kathy Hospice.
