Roberta Asner Obituary
Ms. Roberta Wertley Asner, 77, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Born, March 23, 1945, in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wellington Wertley and the late Catherine Sukeena Wertley. Roberta was a loving and giving woman who cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Roberta was gracious and loved by everyone who knew her. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, nana, and friend.
Roberta leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Dorothy Asner Cooper (Bob) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Julie Doty (Doug) of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Lawson Brown, Corey Cooper (Naisha), Emilee Doty, and Paige Doty; and great-grandchildren, Caiden, Corey Anthony, and Camden.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC. Burial will follow at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, just prior to the service at Kiser Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of one's choice.
