Roberta "Bobbie" Jo Bradley passed peacefully in her home on August 28, 2025, at 73 years old. Born just outside of San Mateo, California, in 1952 to Jane Carson and Robert Whitsell Armstrong, Bobbie was one of five children: John Dewald (deceased), Kathy Culley, Becky Wallace, and Frances Hachmeister.
Bobbie was married to Willard "Willie" Bradley for over 40 years, before his passing in 2015. They leave behind three children: Bryan Bradley, Megan Bradley, and Karen Bradley, daughter in law, Jessica Bradley, and four grandchildren, Elizabeth Bradley, Jane Bradley, Emma Bradley, and Elly Bradley.
Always someone who cared for others, Bobbie began volunteering at hospitals as a teenager and would go on to have a successful 40-year career as a nurse, assistant director of nursing, and director of nursing, working for St. Vincent Hospital in Leadville, Rose Medical Center and various home health agencies and long-term care facilities. She eventually retired as the Clinical Supervisor at Amazing Care Home Health Services.
In her free time, she loved doing crafts, such as sewing, embroidery, card making, crochet, and doll making. Often, her crafts would be gifted to friends, family, and those less fortunate. She was a faithful 44 year member of the Catholic women's association, Archbishop's Guild, and donated numerous handmade afghans for babies and the elderly.
Bobbie will be remembered for the love she had for the people in her life, and her enthusiasm for finding joy in little things. She enjoyed spending time playing games with family friends, dominos and canasta in particular. She loved movies, including both classics and terrible shark movies, seeing her family, the family's geriatric dogs, and drives around Denver. Bobbie was always game for a drive with the window down and a good milkshake for the road.
She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Bobbie gave all she could to the people she cared about. Though her family is profoundly sad at her loss, they know she and Willie are happy to be reunited.
The family will be hosting a memorial service at 2pm on Friday, September 12, at Aspen Mortuary in Arvada, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Bobbie's name to an animal shelter of your choice.
