Roberta Browne Obituary
A native of Round Lake, IL, Mrs. Browne was the daughter of the late John Edward and Mary Genevive O'Donnell. In 1962 she married the late Michael John Browne. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Browne was preceded in death by her brother: Tom O'Donnell.
Mrs. Browne was a loving homemaker, and her dedication to bother faith and family was a beacon of light for all who knew her. She led a life full of charity and remarkable strength that exemplified her faith in the Lord.
She is survived by her daughters: Michelle Weitekamp and Maggie Lane (Ken); brothers: John O'Donnell and Edward O'Donnell; sisters: Mary Brown and Janet Whitehead; and her six grandchildren: Michael, Megan, Alec, Ben, Will, and Sam.
Mrs. Browne leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith. A funeral mass to honor and celebrate Mrs. Browne will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
The family is at their respective homes.

She was a very special lady who endured a variety of health challenges, but kept going on during her life. May she Rest in Peace!

Some of my sweetest childhood memories are thanks to my Aunt Roberta. She was the kindest, most thoughtful, loving person you would ever find. She made my sisters and I feel included and special. Sending my condolences and sympathy to her beloved family.
