Price Arrell Browne, 86, born on September 13th, 1939, in Mount Vernon,

Missouri passed away peacefully on January 15th, 2026, in his home in

Richardson, Texas where he resided for 51 years. He is now at peace from his

courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Price graduated from Mountain Grove High School. He attended Drury University

in Springfield, Missouri where he was a proud member of Sigma Phi

Epsilon. After graduating, Price began working for the Internal Revenue Service

(IRS) in Kansas City, Missouri. He ended his career in 1997 working as a Region

Analyst in the International Enforcement Program with the Southwest and Mid

States Regions for the IRS in Dallas, Texas. He continued to practice IRS skills

by providing free tax services to family and friends.

Price had many interests including, traveling, photography, wood working, and

family genealogy. He traveled to every state, but Hawaii. Why not Hawaii? He

does not do islands.

Price is survived by his son Alan Browne and wife Amanda. Daughter, Laura

Browne and her husband Jeff Marrs. Chris Fick, his longtime companion.

Grandchildren, Justin Browne, Kayla Rotunno and husband Ryan, Michael

Murphy and wife Lana, Evin Carsey and wife Christina, Caulin Carsey and wife

Lauren. Great grandchildren, Bentley and Kinsley Murphy, and Ellie Carsey.

Former wife Carol Browne, sister Doris Whitesides and numerous extended

family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Price (Jack) Sr. and Frances Browne

and sister Dorothy Ann Browne-Peck.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible teams at Home Instead Home Care and

Heart to Heart Hospice that provided compassionate care to Price.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome at doctors without

Borders and The Nature Conservancy
