Roberta Crane Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 15, 2025.
Bobbi was born on May 27th, 1944 in Sumter, South Carolina to Pearl & Paul Radin of New York. She passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2025.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dr. Lawrence Crane, daughter Jennifer Moore (Steve), son Bradford Lefkowitz (Dr. Michelle DeDeo), stepchildren, Alexis Crane (Michael Parsons), & Jeremiah Crane. She further leaves 5 grandchildren, Noah DeDeo, Ethan Lefkowitz, Aurora, Stella, & Terran Parsons.

Family was always Bobbi's priority, she championed each of us in our endeavors, & was our loudest cheerleader. She was a voracious reader, always intrigued, & looking forward to the next chapter. Bobbi was happiest with butterflies and giraffes in sight, & tending to her beloved plants that she nurtured with water & words.

She had a long career as an educator, her longest stint was at The Galloway School in Atlanta, team teaching middle learning alongside Marilou. Bobbi taught & mentored countless students over the years, both adults & children, from coast to coast. Her pride & joy was co-forming & operating the tutoring business, No One Does it Better, which brought much success.

Volunteerism reigned supreme in Bobbi's life, she felt it was her duty to give back. Among her community involvement were the organizations of B'nai Brith Women, Camp for the Deaf, Book Babes, Muscular Dystrophy, & Literacy America. She was thrilled to be named Volunteer of the Year at Durbin Creek Elementary School. It was one of the many honors she received for various meaningful causes. Bobbi read to children at the Huntington Beach Library, where she also taught English to people from other countries, her cherished conversation class.

Bobbi was a force of nature, & lived her life to the fullest with laughter, sass, joy, curiosity, compassion, & dancing with her arms in the air. She has made our lives better in countless ways, & we are grateful. Bobbi will always be remembered with deep love & affection by all whose lives she touched.

A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date. Crane, Radin, Roberta Lenore "Bobbi"
