Roberta Davis Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 9, 2026.
Roberta Dene (Earhart) Davis, 82 passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026 in Vancouver, WA.

Roberta was born on September 30, 1943 in Wenatchee, WA to Vance and Helen Earhart. She attended Columbia Elementary School and graduated from Eastmont High School in 1961. While growing up in East Wenatchee, Roberta and her family were faithful members of Wenatchee Church of Christ and attended regularly with extended family. The Earhart family was active in many community activities including participating and traveling throughout the Northwest with the Wenatchee Youth Circus while Roberta "Rabbi" performed as a high wire walker for six years. After high school, Roberta attended Columbia Christian College in Portland, OR, where she earned her Associates Degree and met her future husband, Gerald Davis. Roberta and Gerald were married in Wenatchee, WA on December 28,1963, before making Vancouver, WA their home and raising three sons: Kirk, Darrin, and Bart.

Roberta was a dedicated wife and thoughtful mother. In all her efforts, Roberta was humble, generous, smart, and funny! Her life's joy was found in family, faith, and service. She was an active member of Vancouver Church of Christ for over 62 years where she made many lasting friendships while participating in weekly Bible studies, classes, service projects, and Sunday lunches. As an active member of Clark County Quilters Guild, she participated in countless quilt shows, retreats, and lively games of dominoes. Roberta's greatest passion was collecting fabric

and making quilts for her family. In most recent years, her time and talents were dedicated to Project Linus, where she helped make and distribute thousands of blankets to comfort children in need. Her mission was to use the fabric that she loved to bless other people. In the weeks and days before her passing, her focus remained in finishing as many projects as possible. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald in 2001. She is survived and loved by

her brothers, David Earhart of Wenatchee, WA, and Ernest Earhart (Ann) of Vancouver, WA; brother-in-laws, James Davis (Judith) of Black Butte Ranch, OR, and Duane Davis of Camas, WA; her sons Kirk (Lori), Darrin (Christine) both of Ridgefield, WA, and Bart (Cheri) of Woodland, WA; grandchildren, Kayla Gray, Colton Davis, Levi Davis, Michelle Kretlow, Melinda Erickson, Riley Davis, Brooklyn Davis, and Alexis Davis; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
